Mix softened, room temperature butter with grated garlic & ginger and soy sauce until fully combined.
Combine all the ingredients for the yum yum sauce and refrigerate while you prep & cool the rest of dish.
Marinate steak and shrimp for a minimum of 30 minutes with the seasonings above.
Cook both on medium high heat in a wok or large pan. Steak will only take about 2-3 minutes.
Remove and add shrimp. Cook until they change color — about a minute. Finish with a tsp of garlic butter (see recipe above) & remove.
In the same pan/wok, saute onions & carrots until softened.
Add minced garlic & ginger. Mix until fragrant.
Break up rice with your hands as you add it to your wok with sesame oil. Let this cook for 2-3 minutes.
Season with soy sauce, oyster sauce. Toss and mix thoroughly until fully combined.
Garnish with chopped green onions.
