This Marry Me Salmon pasta will be sure to turn heads and taste buds. Marry me pasta is a take on the classic Tuscan pasta that includes sundried tomatoes cream, cream and LOTS of Parmesan cheese of course!

  • 1 12 inch or 14 inch Pan
  • 1 4 qt pot

Ingredients
  

Salmon

  • 4 Salmon Filets
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 Juice of lemon

Pasta Sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sun dried tomato oil
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/3 cup sun dried tomatoes chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp dried red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Pasta of choice

Instructions
 

Salmon

  • Season salmon with the ingredients listed.
  • Sear in a pan on medium high heat for about 3-4 minutes until it develops some color.
  • Flip and do the same on the other side.
  • Lower the heat a bit, add butter and once foaming baste until salmon reaches 145F internal.
  • Remove from the pan and let rest.

Pasta Sauce

  • Melt butter & pour the oil from the sun-dried tomatoes.
  • Cook onion, garlic and chopped sun-dried tomatoes until softened & fragrant.
  • Deglaze with chicken broth.
  • Pour in heavy cream, seasonings & freshly grated Parmesan.
  • Add your al dente pasta of choice along with salmon filet, fresh parsley & Parmesan.
